The ShoemakerGurl is an entrepreneur transforming the shoemaking industry. With eight years of experience in social work through a non-governmental organization (SSEP), she is not just a skilled craftswoman but also a passionate social advocate.

As a trailblazer, she has:

Written the motivational book "The Shoemaker Gurl." Co-founded Ahofade, a fashion brand showcasing Ghanaian craftsmanship.

Been recognized as one of Ghana’s 40 Under 40 awardees in shoemaking.

Been named the youngest Iconic Female Shoemaker by WestlionCo. Received the Ghana Grow Young Innovators Award 2024 from Mastercard Foundation and Springboard Roadshow Foundation.

Been listed among WestlionCo's 35 Under 35 promising female entrepreneurs.

She is on a mission to provide 1,000 shoes to children in underserved communities, a campaign dubbed “Shoes for the Shoeless.”

Beyond her craft, Edna continues to inspire and uplift others through her story and actions.
